OVERVIEW
Closeté operates a verification-before-delivery model.
Every item is:
- Collected
- Authenticated
- Delivered only after approval
NO TRADITIONAL RETURNS
Closeté does not operate a traditional returns policy.
This is because:
- Buyers inspect items at the point of delivery
- Acceptance happens before payment is released
BUYER ACCEPTANCE AT DELIVERY
At delivery, the buyer can:
Accept the item
- Transaction is completed
- Payment is released to the seller
Reject the item
- Item is returned to the seller
- Buyer receives a full refund
- Seller is not paid
AUTHENTICATION PROTECTION
If an item:
- Fails authentication
- Is significantly not as described
Closeté will:
- Cancel the transaction
- Refund the buyer in full
- Return the item to the seller
FINAL SALE AFTER ACCEPTANCE
Once the buyer accepts the item: The transaction is final
Closeté is not responsible for:
- Change of mind
- Fit or sizing issues
- Subjective preferences
FRAUD PREVENTION
Closeté may:
- Perform additional verification checks
- Delay or cancel transactions if risk is detected
DAMAGED ITEMS
If damage occurs while in Closeté's control:
- The issue will be reviewed
- Appropriate resolution will be determined
REFUNDS
Where applicable, refunds will be:
- Issued to the original payment method
- Processed within a reasonable timeframe
